The Bresser Youngster Explorer is a digital night vision monocular designed for children aged 6 and up, making it an exciting companion for after-dark exploring. A built-in infrared LED illuminates the nearby surroundings, so the device shows a black-and-white image on its display at distances of 0.5 to 2 metres, even in complete darkness.

The 3.6 cm (1.44") LCD screen shows the image directly, and the 2× and 3× zoom levels bring observed details closer. During the day, three further image modes are available: colour, a green night vision filter and a digital thermal imaging filter, which is a visual effect imitating the display of a thermal camera rather than real temperature measurement.

This compact, ergonomically shaped device weighs just 150 grams and is designed for small hands. It runs on two AA batteries, which are included in the package, and offers a battery life of up to 3 hours.
