The digital microscope easily brings the microcosm to the screen. The successful and proven Researcher series has now entered the world of digital microscopes and offers new possibilities for school, hobby or work microscopy. The optics and mechanics are the same as those already proven in Researcher Bino and Researcher Trino microscopes.

Including 4 turrets, an Abbe condenser, a coaxial fine focus and a stage, the Researcher LCD is suitable for hobby microscopy as well as for teaching or other work-related applications. The maximum magnification achieved when using the 60x objective (compared to 600x on non-digital microscopes) is large enough to view small microorganisms such as microalgae, flagellates, and bacteria. Other magnifications (20x, 100x immersion oil) can be added later. The Researcher LCD is also compatible with our plan-achromatic lenses designed for a 160 mm optical tube length.

The integrated, modern, 16 MP Sony IMX206 camera sensor provides a brilliant image with good contrast on the monitor. The user can conveniently change settings, record pictures and videos with the touch screen. Images including 16 MP and Full HD videos can be stored directly on the SD card (SD card not included). The microscope also has an HDMI connector, so the image can be easily displayed on a large monitor or TV. The results can thus be shared with a larger audience at lectures or training.
