    The author's original aim was to discuss in this work all the clothes of the Western cult, which are the "church clothes of the Mass priests"... and also the color and blessing of the holy clothes. However, during his relevant studies, he became convinced that the thorough elaboration of the subject necessitated the distinction. Therefore, only the sacral vestments of the high priest are discussed here, that is, those that have an exclusively high priest character, such as the miter, the bishop's gloves, the shoes and stockings, the archbishop's pallium, the papal fanon and the papal subcinctorium. The work fills a real gap, because no similar work has seen the light of day since its publication.
