    The Bixolon XD5-40D is a professional desktop label printer using direct thermal technology. It suits retail, manufacturing, logistics and healthcare environments, printing at 203 DPI and at speeds of up to 177.8 mm/s. It handles labels up to 118 mm wide.

    The printer features a compact clamshell design with intuitive menu buttons and a 10.2 cm LCD display for easy operation. It supports gap, black mark, continuous and fanfold labels. With 64 MB of RAM and 128 MB of flash memory, it delivers fast and reliable performance. A wide range of barcode standards is supported, including QR Code, Data Matrix, PDF417, Code 128 and EAN.

    Connectivity options include USB, USB Host, Ethernet and serial port. The printer is compatible with PC, Mac, iOS and Android and supports ZPL II, SLCS, EPL and BPL-Z emulation. It carries Energy Star certification and measures 194 x 248 x 169 mm, weighing 1.89 kg, so it fits easily on any workstation.
