Benedek Elek - Diamond storybook

On the occasion of the 160th anniversary of Benedek Elek's birth and the 90th anniversary of his death, Scolar Publishing pays tribute to the "storyteller of storytellers" with a special storybook. We have collected the most famous and most beloved tales of "Grandfather Elek" in a bouquet, those emblematic works that have now become classics and have become defining pieces of the fairy-tale experience of generations - although we may not even know that these folk tales were made permanent by Elek Benedek's delicious Székely language.

The storybook has been compiled in such a way that it can become a family reading book, i.e. it spans from the youngest storytellers to older children who are also interested in fairy tales, and even adults. Thus, the most diverse types of fairy tales are included in the book: animal tales for the little ones, fairy tales, funny tales, and stories that introduce you to the world of folklore, e.g. The sky-high tree.

The selection contains a total of 25 fairy tales - this number is also "fairy tales" now, as we plan to publish the book on the 25th anniversary of the founding of Scolar Publishing House.
