The world is not what it used to be. Ancient magics have stirred beneath the land of Enveron, and their return ushers in a new era for those brave enough to face the danger. The Maladum Starter Set is a complete core box set for a dark, narrative fantasy adventure game that includes everything you need for your first missions and to start a longer campaign.

Maladum is a miniatures-based dungeon crawler where players control teams of adventurers across a detailed, modular 3D playing field. Exploration is gradual, enemies and events are controlled by the game's system, so each mission presents different challenges. The goal is not just survival, but for the team to return to the camp, improved, with loot and new stories.

The 3D scenery elements in the box provide a real spatial experience: the dungeon is built using walls, landmarks and a printed neoprene play mat. Maladum's specialty is that during the campaign the characters develop, learn new skills, acquire equipment, and their decisions have a real impact on the development of the story.

The game is fully playable in solo mode, but is also excellent as a cooperative experience. No separate solo add-on or house rules required. Maladum's system automatically handles opponents and events, so even a player gets a full experience.

The Starter Set is also the basis for all Maladum expansions, so it can be expanded later with new monsters, locations and events.
