AXAGON ADE-AM15 USB-A Gigabit Ethernet adapter with integrated CAT6 network RJ-45 cable (1.5 m)

The AXAGON ADE-AM15 is a USB-A Gigabit Ethernet adapter with a permanently attached 1.5 m CAT6 network cable ending in an RJ-45 connector. It connects laptops and computers directly to a wired network or the internet without a separate Ethernet cable, with transfer speeds of up to 1 Gbit/s. No driver installation is required, as the adapter is recognised automatically once plugged in.

Compared with Wi-Fi, the wired connection offers lower latency, more stable data transfer and greater reliability. The adapter also supports Wake-on-LAN, VLAN, Jumbo Frames and precise time synchronisation via PTP and gPTP, which makes it suitable for demanding home and office networks.

The aluminium housing protects the electronics against mechanical damage and helps dissipate heat during operation. Foil shielding with a grounding wire minimises electromagnetic interference, supporting stable data transmission in environments with many interference sources.
