The FRITZ!Repeater 1200 AX supports Wi-Fi 6 in the 2.4 GHz spectrum as well as the 5 GHz band, including 160 MHz wide Wi-Fi channels that allow speeds of up to 2400 Mbit/s.

Setting up the FRITZ!Repeater 1200 AX is extremely easy: plug it in, press the button, and the FRITZ!Repeater and the FRITZ!Box or a WPS-capable router will automatically connect. The FRITZ!Repeater takes over the Wi-Fi settings and is immediately ready for use. The FRITZ!App WLAN helps you find the ideal position for the FRITZ!Repeater.

Via Gigabit LAN cable or Wi-Fi
The FRITZ!Repeater 1200 AX connects to the Wi-Fi network of the FRITZ!Box and provides its own network: This provides greater Wi-Fi range without cables. With the Repeater's gigabit LAN port, you can integrate network-capable devices without Wi-Fi into your home network, e.g. smart TV or printer.

Alternatively, the FRITZ!Repeater can be connected with a LAN cable or network adapter. This means that even greater distances can be easily bridged.
