AVATTO ZMS16 intelligent PIR motion sensor

The Avatto ZMS16 sensor is a compact ZigBee device that gives you full control over the security of your home or office. It detects any movement within its range and sends an instant notification to your smartphone app. Working with the Tuya ecosystem and the Smart Life system, it allows you to create automated scenarios that increase comfort and safety - for example, automatically turning on the lights when motion is detected or activating the alarm when no one should be in the room.

Accurate motion detection
The Avatto ZMS16 uses PIR technology to accurately detect the presence of people within a range of up to 8 meters and 60°. When it detects movement, it immediately sends a signal to the ZigBee system, so you can immediately activate the connected devices. The sensor only responds to real thermal movement, minimizing the risk of false alarms due to, for example, pets or changes in lighting.

Wide detection angle and position adjustment
The Fresnel lens provides a wide detection range, and the rotating design with magnetic base allows precise adjustment of the sensor angle. To increase the efficiency of the detection, you can precisely direct it to a door, corridor or entrance area. It is recommended to install the device at a height of approximately 2.2 meters for an optimal observation area.

Cooperation with the ZigBee system
The ZMS16 sensor works based on the ZigBee 3.0 standard, ensuring stable and energy-saving communication. It requires connection to a ZigBee gateway that integrates it with other smart home devices. This allows you to create complex automation scenarios - for example, activating lighting when you enter a room, turning on a camera when motion is detected, or sending a notification when a sensor is activated while you're away.

Easy to install and energy efficient
Thanks to its smart design, the sensor can be installed both on the wall and on the ceiling, so it can be easily adapted to different rooms. Thanks to the magnetic base, the device can be quickly removed, for example to change the battery or to change the observation angle. Installation requires no tools - just glue the base to the desired location and place the sensor on top. The device works with a CR123A (3 V) battery, which ensures long and stable operation without frequent replacement. The low-charge warning system reminds you in advance to replace the battery, and the energy-saving ZigBee module minimizes energy consumption, thus extending the life of the power supply.

Intelligent integration with AVATTO tools
When connected to a ZigBee gateway, the sensor also works with other Avatto smart devices. You can connect it to lights, switches or cameras to create fully automated scenes. ZMS16 makes everyday use more convenient and is an important part of a smart home security system.
