Direct drive professional turntable
The AT-LP140X Pegy is a hand-controlled, professional, direct-drive turntable with a high-torque motor that easily meets the needs of DJ shows. 33-1/3, 45 or 78 RPM disc rotation can be set, its uniformity is ensured by the precise structure of the turntable. Its high resistance to resonances is due to the aluminum cast plate, dampened by weighting. With its height-adjustable S-shaped tone arm, counterweight-tunable needle pressure and precisely adjustable dynamic anti-skating mechanism, most record playing parameters can be conveniently tuned.

Audio-Technica has been a recognized authority in the world of pickups for more than fifty years, and this extensive experience has led to the development of the durable, high-output AT-XP3 DJ pickup with a 0.6 mil needle, which is included with the turntable. It is connected to the turntable with an AT-HS6 1" fitting headshell. Designed for devices with a dedicated phono input, the LP-140XP provides a high output signal level of 5.5 mV on the output RCA sockets.

As additional technology, the turntable has a start/stop button, standard and reverse playback, a quartz-controlled pitch control system (+/-8%, +/-16% and +/-24%) steps, stroboscopic speed measurement, can be deactivated with needle lighting and a removable dust cover is available.
