The ATEN CE820 is a USB HDMI KVM extender based on HDBaseT 2.0 that carries HDMI video, two-channel stereo audio, USB, Ethernet and RS-232 signals over a single Cat6 cable. In standard HDBaseT mode it transmits 4K signals up to 100 m, while the HDBaseT Long Reach mode carries Full HD 1080p content up to 150 m. It suits remote access to computers and workstations in settings such as shipping centres, medical facilities, industrial warehouses and extended workstations.
An EDID buffer ensures quick, smooth startup and consistently good picture quality. It supports HDMI with 3D, Deep Color and 4K, as well as HDCP 2.2. Other features include PC wake-up, high-speed USB 2.0 ports and built-in 8 kV / 15 kV ESD protection.
