GAMECOOL 7

ROG Phone 7's GameCool 7 thermal management system is the best yet, cooling the CPU from all directions. It works with a three-pronged approach. First, in the case of short gaming sessions, boron nitride (BN) thermal paste applied to the side of the CPU reduces throttling due to heating. Second, medium-length gaming sessions are ensured by the larger vapor chamber and the graphite plates on the other side of the CPU. Finally, for marathon gaming sessions, the AeroActive Cooler 7 — whose fan sits directly above the CPU module — provides AI-based active cooling, complete with a Peltier element for extra cooling performance.

FAST CYCLE STEAM CHAMBER

The new ROG fast-cycle vapor chamber features specially designed channels that quickly return condensation to the center of the chamber, increasing cooling efficiency. The six liquid return channels act as a mini-highway for condensate, while the three-pronged harpoon-shaped drainage pillars on the long edges of the chamber increase efficiency.

OPTIMIZED GRAPHITE SHEETS

Graphite sheets conduct heat incredibly efficiently, which is why we increased them further in ROG Phone 7. We also redesigned them to maximize heat dissipation from the motherboard and RF board.
