The ASRock B850M Challenger WiFi is a micro ATX format motherboard with an AMD AM5 (LGA 1718) socket that supports AMD Ryzen 9000, 8000 and 7000 series processors. The board equipped with the AMD B850 chipset has 4 DDR5 DIMM slots, supports up to 8000+ MHz (OC) memory frequency in dual channel mode.
It provides excellent expandability: with 1 PCIe 5.0 x16 and 1 PCIe 4.0 x16 slots, 2 M.2 slots (including PCIe Gen5 x4), and 4 SATA3 ports. Realtek 2.5G LAN, WiFi 7 (802.11be) and Bluetooth are also available for network connection.
There is 1 HDMI connector available as a video output, and Realtek ALC897 7.1-channel HD Audio codec and Nahimic Audio support for sound. The number of USB ports is ample: USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-C, as well as a total of 8 USB 3.2 and 6 USB 2.0 connectors.
Built-in I/O shield, BIOS Flashback button and ASRock Post Status Checker ensure easy commissioning and debugging. The motherboard has an 8+1+1 phase Dr.MOS power circuit for stable and reliable operation.
