Arne Dahl - Hajsza (2021)

Desiré Rosenkvist, the chief inspector of the Stockholm police, receives a mysterious and bizarre letter, which, however, makes two things very clear: firstly, that it was written by a man who is utterly desperate and severely paranoid, and secondly, that the letter writer knows details from one of Desiré's previous murder cases, which only the killer can know.
Desiré contacts ex-investigator Sam Berger, who is hiding from the law enforcement agencies in the thick of the Swedish tundra, with his partner Molly Blom, and entrusts them with finding the writer of the letter. But someone wants to prevent them from digging deeper into the mystery at all costs, and is constantly watching them. The investigation soon changes direction - the persecuted becomes the persecutor, the detectives become the prey.

The breathtaking sequel to the international bestseller Someone's Watching, The Chase is a chilling journey into the ice-cold heart of darkness. Arne Dahl brings his best form.
