Wars of the Black Rose is a competitive deck building, strategy and combat board game set in the Nova Aetas universe.

Each player is a powerful mage of the Black Rose Tower who is vying for the title of Grandmaster in order to obtain the power of the Black Rose Relic and the lost spells of the school of Forgotten Magic.

Mages have 6 schools of magic at their disposal to eliminate their opponents with their spells and their own strategy.
Mages fight each other in a modular arena made up of hexagonal rooms. They can summon creatures, use destructive magic, or triumph with the help of various charms and traps. Defeated mages are immediately returned to their meditation room, from where they can re-enter the arena.

The mage with the most power points at the end of the fight wins the Grandmaster title!
