The ARCTIC Thermal pad can be used for heat dissipation between the heatsink and electronic components such as VRM power supply, memory, etc. It is made of silicone-based material and has better electrical properties than other similar solutions, but it is not suitable for replacing the paste in the case of high-performance components (processor, graphics cards). A big advantage is the ease of use and the selection of different types of different sizes and thicknesses. The pad does not contain metal particles, so there is no possibility of a short circuit.
