    The AppleCare Protection Plan provides direct, full access to Apple's award-winning telephone technical support service for up to three years from the date of purchase of your computer for issues related to Apple hardware, OS X, iLife and iWork. All this includes local Apple hardware repair worldwide.

    The AppleCare Protection Plan provides consumers with additional benefits in addition to the right to a free repair or replacement from the seller for products that, upon receipt, do not conform to the terms of the sales contract. Under English law, consumers can exercise these rights for a maximum of six years from the date of receipt of the product, however various factors may affect eligibility for the said repair and replacement options.
