Product description
With AirTag, you can track your stuff super easily. Put one on your keys and throw another in your backpack. That's all: they already appear in the Locator app. Here you can find your AirTags, see your Apple devices, and see where your friends and family members are going.
Ping me. Find it.
Put an AirTag in your wallet so you don't despair if you can't find it. From the new Objects tab of the Lokátor app, you can use the built-in speaker of AirTagged. If he's hiding somewhere nearby—like under the couch or in the other room—just follow the sound and he'll be there.
Cold. Warm. Hot. You found it.
If AirTag is near you, your iPhone will guide you directly to it with Precision Search. Thanks to the ultra-wideband technology, you will see where and how far your AirTag is from you.
Hundreds of millions are helping you.
If you've left what you're looking for somewhere far away—for example, at the beach or the gym—AirTagged will help you find it using the Locator network of hundreds of millions of iPhones, iPads, and Macs worldwide. Your data is safe throughout the process.
How It Works?
AirTagged emits a secure Bluetooth signal that is picked up by nearby devices in the Locator network. They send the location of the AirTag to iCloud - and it appears on the map of the Locator app. In order to protect your data, this is done anonymously and encrypted. What's more, the whole thing was designed to be economical, so you don't have to worry about your battery draining or your data traffic.
It's even easier to find everything with lost mode.
Like other Apple devices, you can set the AirTag to Lost Mode. When the lost AirTag is found by a device in the network, you will be notified automatically. You can also set up an honest finder to see your contact details by touching your AirTagged with an NFC-enabled phone - this uses the same technology as mobile payments.
Built-in data protection.
Only you can see where your AirTag is. AirTag never stores current and past location data. The devices transmitting the location of the AirTag also remain anonymous, and the data is encrypted at every step. Thus, even Apple does not know the location of AirTagged, and the tools that help in its search cannot be identified.
AirTag is designed to prevent unwanted tracking. If someone else's AirTag gets into your stuff, your iPhone will recognize that they're moving with you and notify you. After a while - if you still can't find it - the AirTag will alert you with a sound signal that you have it.
Of course, we also thought about if you're spending time with a friend who also has an AirTag, or if you're sitting on the train, where there are a lot of AirTags around you. Signals are only activated when an AirTag moves away from its owner.
Simple. It's apt.
You can set it up with a single touch and the AirTag will instantly connect to your iPhone or iPad. Name it, put it on what you want to follow - and you're done. Would you also like to see AirTag notifications on your Apple Watch? No problem.
