Surrounding sound from all sides makes music, TV shows and movies even more immersive with an impressive three-dimensional sound experience. AirPods' gyroscopes and accelerometers work together to track your head movements - you'll feel like you're right in the middle of music and movie scenes.¹

Adaptive tone control
The earphones automatically tune the music to the shape of your ears. Its inward-facing microphones sense what you're hearing and adjust the bass and midrange frequencies to make every song sound rich in detail.

Longer action runtime
The battery life of the third generation AirPods is one hour longer compared to the second generation, so one charge is enough for up to 6 hours of listening to music² and up to 4 hours of talking⁵. A 5-minute charge is enough, and you can listen to music⁶ or talk for about an hour.⁷ And with the Lightning charging case, you can listen to music for up to 30 hours.

Both the AirPods and the Lightning charging case have an IPX4 water resistance rating – meaning you don't have to worry about rain or tough workouts.³
