The APC Smart-UPS Ultra On-Line 5000VA is an online uninterruptible power supply rated at 5 kVA / 5 kW, using double-conversion technology to keep critical IT equipment powered without interruption. Its 2U chassis fits both rack and tower installations, and it delivers a pure sine wave output, making it suitable for protecting servers, network devices and data centre equipment.
The built-in lithium-ion battery recharges in roughly 1.5 hours and offers a longer service life than conventional batteries. The integrated network management card allows servers, virtual machines and HCI clusters to be shut down safely with the PowerChute Network Shutdown software. The unit is compatible with the EcoStruxure IT platform and with third-party monitoring solutions.
An LCD display, a USB connection and a temperature sensor complement the functions, and the unit is connected via a hard-wired 3-wire connection. The product weighs 29.2 kg and measures 701 mm in depth.
