The APC Power Saving Back UPS Pro 1500 uninterruptible power supply unit provides temporary power supply for moderately high resource-demanding devices during power outages. But it also protects connected devices against overvoltage and peak voltage. The device carries out automatic voltage regulation: it adjusts the low and high voltage states to a safe level so that the connected equipment can operate with a constant voltage, whether the voltage is too high or too low in the network. APC Back UPS Pro 1500 also has various "green functions": it bypasses those electrical components that are not in use when there is a good power supply, thus ensuring high operational efficiency without sacrificing any protection. The device is also energy- and power-saving. The power-saving function automatically turns off the peripherals when the central device is in hibernation or turned off. When the central device is turned back on or switched on, the peripherals are also immediately powered. In order to save electricity, it automatically disconnects devices that are not in use. The device has a multifunctional liquid crystal display (LCD) with status indicators and control functions.
