    The APC Back-UPS 500VA is a line-interactive uninterruptible power supply that protects desktop computers, network equipment and home electronics against power outages and voltage fluctuations. It delivers a nominal output of 500 VA / 300 W with 230 V input and output.

    Automatic voltage regulation (AVR) corrects mains voltage fluctuations without switching to battery, giving connected equipment a more stable power supply. It has three IEC outlets, and the input connection is IEC 60320 C14. The USB port and PowerChute Serial Shutdown software allow remote monitoring and shutdown.

    An LED status panel shows the operating state. The compact black tower design has IP20 protection and is rated for ambient temperatures between 0 and 40 °C. The internal 12 V / 7 Ah VRLA battery can be replaced with the APCRBC110 cartridge.
