Angela Murinai - Ich bin aus Ungarn - Magyarországról jöttem
Product description
"You don't know how safe it is to understand the words of those around you until you experience the bubble that surrounds you in a foreign country every moment."
After the death of her son and husband, Angela feels that she can no longer stay in Hungary. Life at home is bleak, and pitying looks won't help you restore your mental balance either. In the hope of a better future, a new beginning, she moves to Germany with her two teenage sons.
However, without language skills and a supportive background, it is extremely difficult to get a hold of yourself in a foreign country. However, Ich bin aus Ungarn is not only about the vicissitudes of emigration, but much more. In addition to the complications of moving abroad, it also shows how we can preserve our dignity in all circumstances, and the devastating effect of unprocessed grief and rootlessness.
At the same time, this memoir is also a book of hope and perseverance: it tells us that even if we are tired, even if we sometimes collapse under the weight, we can and must always get up, again and again.
Angela Murinai graduated from the Eötvös József Teacher Training College in Baja and then worked as a teacher for a few years.
