    The ALTA LABS S12 is a fully managed switch with 12 SFP+ ports, each delivering up to 10 Gbps over both fiber optic and copper-based networks. It suits campuses, hotels, restaurants, entertainment venues and residential complexes where a fast and reliable network connection is essential.

    Its features include VLAN stacking (Q-in-Q), IGMP snooping, 802.1X authentication and network loop detection. Setup is quick and simple via Bluetooth and the Alta Networks mobile app, while cloud management is handled through a customisable dashboard.

    The S12 can be mounted on a wall or in a 19-inch rack cabinet, and two units can optionally be fitted into a single 1U space. It offers a maximum switching capacity of 240 Gbps and a MAC address table with 32,000 entries. The metal housing includes a 40x40 mm internal fan, and maximum power consumption is 35 W.
