Albrecht Müller - Ne hidd el! Kérdőjelezd meg! Gondolkozz önállóan!
Product description
Democracy: it sounds nice, but reality challenges the ideal every day. In fact, most political decisions are made after a hard-hitting propaganda campaign - from development plans to going to war.
This book will help you navigate the jungle of manipulation. Albrecht Müller, a veteran of German public life, presents general methods of manipulation, successful cases of influencing public opinion, and analyzes the strategies behind them. Again and again, the reader is shocked to learn that even though the examples are basically from Germany, they affect everyone: it is a system of political and media manipulations slowly defining every minute of our lives, which is barely noticeable, yet terrifyingly effective.
It is time, the author encourages, to start questioning what they want us to believe. It's time to start thinking for ourselves.
Albrecht Müller (1938-) is a German economist, journalist and editor. He managed to get to know the world of politics as a participant: in 1972 he led the election campaign of Willy Brandt, and then worked as the head of planning at the Federal Chancellery. He later became a freelance political-economic policy consultant and served two terms as a representative in the German legislature. Since 2003, he is the founding author and co-editor of the critical portal NachDenkSeiten, followed by tens of thousands.
