Alan Moore - Britannia captain

The mysterious, powerful Merlin sends Brian Braddock, aka Captain Britannia, into a parallel reality on the brink of total destruction, but Braddock's efforts to save the alternate Earth fail. When the fateful events taking place there begin to repeat themselves in our own world, Captain Britannia is forced to face her inevitable fate.

As a murderous, seemingly invincible monster approaches from a destroyed parallel universe, the forces of destruction on Earth threaten all of reality in the form of a deranged, almost divinely powerful being. An apocalyptic chess game is going on in the background, and the stakes are life or death, destruction or survival. But even the Chess Player wasn't prepared for all eventualities...

A mythic story about the eternal struggle between Good and Evil, worthy of the darkest and most glorious moments of the Marvel Universe, the legend of the Dark Phoenix or Thanos.

Alan Moore (Watchmen, V as Vengeance, League of Extraordinary Gentlemen) and Alan Davis (X-Men, New Mutants) are among the greatest in the comic book genre. Captain Britannia is one of the first truly significant works for both of them: a narrative masterpiece, but also a cutting-edge work in terms of graphics, which has withstood the test of time by far.

The volume contains all the Captain Britannia stories written by Alan Moore.
