Adventure Horizont Kiadó - Ryuutama A Nature and a Fantasy Szerepjátéka

Ryuutama is a Japanese anime-themed tabletop role-playing game that focuses on exploration, travel, and friendship. Players take on the role of ordinary travelers in a fabulous fantasy world where nature, experiences and shared stories are more important than combat. It's an ideal choice for anime fans, fans of the Ghibli vibe, and those looking for a more relaxed, story-driven role-playing game.

Ryuutama, with its Hungarian subtitle Dragon's Egg, is a role-playing game with a special atmosphere, which focuses on the experience of traveling instead of classic fantasy adventures. The world of the game is like an anime fantasy tale and an old JRPG meet: calm, close to people, yet full of wonder.

Players take on the role of Wanderers who set off to discover new lands, meet people, and become part of small but significant stories. The journey is not a background element, but the heart of the game: weather, terrain, seasons and preparation all play a real role.

The world is ruled by four ancient dragons - Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter - who shape not only the weather, but also the atmosphere of the landscapes. Magic is gentle, fabulous and imbued with emotion, not merely a tool but a natural part of the world.

Ryuutama is often compared to the works of Hayao Miyazaki due to its positive, heartwarming tone. If the atmosphere of Totoro - The Secret of the Enchanted Forest, Chihiro in the Spirit Land or The Boy and the Gray Heron is close to you, you can expect familiar feelings here too. The anime inspiration is not loud, but subtly present in the outlook and rhythm of the world.

The rule system is particularly beginner-friendly, but at the same time deep enough to remain meaningful even for experienced players. Its special feature is that the Storyteller is also present in the world as a character, so he is an active part of the story.

Ryuutama is an ideal choice if you want a slower, more human, more hopeful role-playing experience, where adventure is not necessarily measured in sword strikes, but in journeys, seasons and memories.
