Product description
Adamo Fehérmályvaleva tea is an expectorant, effective against chronic diseases of the trachea and digestive organs, as well as a cough suppressant.
Most of the active ingredients of this herb, also known as medical sedum, are found in its roots and young leaves, but its flowers are also used in tea mixtures. Its medicinal effect has been known since ancient times, and it is interesting that it is still used today to alleviate the same complaints as it was then.
The decoction of the leaves, which have expectorant, diuretic and skin-soothing properties, is primarily used to treat urethritis and kidney stones.
The decoction made from white mallow is a proven home remedy for stubborn coughs, enteritis, and excessive stomach acid production due to its soothing and enveloping effect. It can be used effectively in case of colic, cystitis, painful urination and urge to urinate.
It is given as a real medicine for canker sores and white flow, one coffee spoonful every hour.
Its concoction is commonly used as a throat and mouth rinse, and can be used for hoarseness, dry throat, and gingivitis. In case of tonsillitis, it can be used not only as a throat rinse, but can also be used externally to make a poultice around the neck.
When consumed as a tea, it is very effective against colds, catarrh, coughs, colds and flu. Used as a poultice for conjunctivitis, it relieves unpleasant symptoms and helps reduce the inflammation.
Mallow mucilage is used in cosmetics because it has very good skin-helping properties. It helps with all skin irritations and is an excellent carrier for combining other herbs. It protects, strengthens, hydrates, and smoothes the skin in all cases and for all skin types, if properly combined. A poultice can also be made from the crushed leaves for furuncles, but the decoction can be used as a wash for any skin inflammation.
Preparation:
For stomach and intestinal complaints: boil 2 teaspoons of sedum leaves in 1 liter of water, leave for 10 minutes, then strain and consume without flavoring. It is worth sipping before meals, 3 cups a day.
For poultice, throat and mouth rinse: boil 1 teaspoon of sedum leaves with 2.5 dl of water, then gargle with the filtered and cooled to lukewarm concoction, or make a poultice using a soft cloth.
Throat poultice, in case of tonsillitis: Lift the sedum leaf used in the preparation of the decoction out of the water, then wrap it in gauze or linen and place it on the throat. You can also fasten it with a scarf.
