ACES GAMES Occult horror roleplaying game core box VHS: Unchained

VHS: Unchained is a standalone, English-language supernatural horror roleplaying game that draws on the atmosphere of retro VHS tapes. Its packaging imitates a videocassette, although it is not a real tape. The game centres on demons, curses, rituals and cults, presenting them through its rules and story material.

Alongside the rulebook, the game offers ten ready-made, film-style stories. Five of them can also be played solo, so a small group or a single player can start right away.

The box contains a rulebook of more than 170 pages, four maps, 40 markers, five pre-made characters, five monsters and a digital file package. Published in 2023 in English, the game is recommended only for adults aged 18 and over because of its occult horror themes.
