A jelenkori France II. kötet

The two-volume work presenting contemporary France is published jointly by the CUF Francophone University Center in Szeged and the Europa Varietas Institute in Switzerland, with interpretations by 20 outstanding Hungarian researchers in the field. The second volume presents 16 important topics in more detail, usually broader. in historical and social perspectives. Starting with the constitutional framework and institutional system of the Fifth Republic, through the German-French cooperation and European policy, as well as the economic, social and defense frameworks, up to and including education and culture policy. At the same time, he also discusses in detail such special topics as, for example, regionalism or the history of the French secret services. The book ends with chapters presenting the history of French politics in Eastern-Central-European and Hungarian relations. The chapters are sometimes supplemented by subsections presenting a sub-theme, and bibliographies mainly containing items in French and Hungarian. The book is planned to be supplemented by a collection of documents.
