Zsoldos Gábor Dedy - Különös night volt
Product description
An entire country loved them, an entire country was shocked in the summer of 1985, hearing of their tragic car accident. The names of Katalin Sárosi and Imre Zsoldos are still a concept for music lovers. In the pages of Különös yjászka, their former son, successful musician in his own right, Gábor Dedy Zsoldos, recalls their legendary love and their career lined with hits, and his memories are enriched by never-before-seen archive photos and interviews with their colleagues.
"My beloved father would have been one hundred and one years old this year, my mother ninety! I often toy with the idea that they could still be alive today, since farmer Bálint and Kirk Douglas, and even many others, reached this age... Unfortunately, we spent little time together with father, life gave us a total of twenty-three years... But what we got was meaningful. We played music together many times, dad. Do you remember? You taught me to sing, you were there - and you were very proud of me - at my graduation concert, you were there for quite a few Hungárias, and later Also at a Dolly Roll concert. You liked it! You were happy that I became a musician. But you didn't know any of your grandchildren... But how you adored them and they adored you.
You, on the other hand, loved music more than anything, that there was finally peace, you loved me, mom and grandma. A country loved and respected you, and a country worried about you in August 1985 - but unfortunately in vain. I will never forget your last words in the Szeged hospital on your deathbed: "Kati? Mama? Are they okay? I kiss them!" - Then you fell into a coma and never came back.
Mom! I can't process your loss... I just can't accept it!"
