The Zebra MP7001 is a built-in multiplane bioptic barcode scanner designed for high-volume checkout lanes. Its CMOS sensor reads both 1D and 2D codes quickly and reliably, while the large read zone lets cashiers and self-checkout users pass items across the scanner with ease.

The unit connects to existing POS systems via RS-232, RS-485 and USB. It includes an integrated scale and a flip-up platter, and can be powered from AC, RS-232 or USB. The 2.3-megapixel colour camera supports product recognition applications, which can help speed up and improve the accuracy of checkout.
