Product description
V4A10 is a finely woven, corrosion-resistant stainless steel mesh for protection against high frequency radiation (HF) and low frequency electric fields (LF). V4A (AISI 316) is resistant to water, water vapor, air humidity, mild acids and, in coastal areas, salty sea water!
Application
Typical area of use for interior and exterior floor plasters for modernized insulation, in attics, plasterboard structures, as a fly trap, for glazing, etc.
Processing
When processing the V4A10 primer, preferably work with a fine and organic filler. Under the floor covering (laminate floor, parquet, PVC coating, etc.), the V4A10 is fixed with the glue used for the floor covering. In plasterboard construction and in the roof area, the mesh elements can be screwed together or stapled together. The rule is as follows: The individual elements must always overlap each other by at least 5 cm. For grounding, use GSS25 perforated stainless steel tape, which is screwed into the surface through the elements and placed directly on the surface.
Grounding
This product with an electrically conductive surface must be incorporated into the functional equivalent potential bond (FEB). You can find the appropriate grounding accessories under the "Grounding" menu item.
Shield attenuation HF & LF
This product shields high frequency electromagnetic fields (HF). Unless otherwise stated, the given dB values refer to 1 GHz. Measurement between 600 MHz and 40 GHz according to ASTM D4935-10 or IEEE Std 299-2006.
This product with an electrically conductive surface shields low-frequency alternating electric fields (LF).
