How does XGO3 work?

The Xplora XGO3 smartwatch keeps the whole family connected. This smart alternative to a mobile phone for children is equipped with a SIM card, so you can make calls, send and receive messages and find your child's location via GPS.

Thanks to the Xplora parent app for smartphones, you can keep an eye on everything: Connect the watch to the app, define the contacts that children can communicate with through the smartwatch, and set personalized school mode and individual safety zones.

A safe alternative to the smartphone for children

Would you like your child to be able to call you on the go without having a full-fledged cell phone? The XGO3 smart watch for children offers a safe solution: calls and (voice) messages are possible, but internet access is excluded. The Xplora smartwatch offers only the functions that a child really needs.

Making calls with a children's smartwatch is very easy - you can easily manage it by touching the touch screen.

Safe areas for your child with GPS trackers

Feel safe and carefree when your child is outside. Thanks to XGO3 GPS positioning, you can easily see where your child is with the real-time map display. You can also define personalized safe areas in the Xplora parenting app on your smartphone. The radius of these safe areas is completely controlled by you. If your child enters or leaves these areas, the children's watch will recognize this and send a notification to your smartphone. So you know immediately when your child has arrived at school safely, or you can react quickly if he gets lost or needs help.

You can easily set school mode for your child's lessons through the parent app. It is then automatically activated during the child's teaching time.

In school mode, normal calls cannot be made with the XGO3, and messages cannot be read or sent. The clock only shows the time to ensure that your child is not distracted during lessons. The SOS button remains functional even in school mode, so you can quickly call for help in an emergency. You can view your child's location at any time through the app. Thanks to our school mode, the Xplora smartwatch is popular compared to other kids' smartwatches.

If your child needs you, you can simply press the SOS button on the XGO3 kids smartwatch for five seconds. This will call the two family members you set up as administrators through the app one after the other. Additionally, your child's location will be pushed to both administrators.

To help kids have fun while wearing the Xplora Watch, your child can earn Xplora Coins by taking steps on our activity platform. You can then use these coins to bid on great products or exchange them for exciting, kid-friendly online content.

You can easily register your child on the activity platform through the parent app. The content on the platform is not visible on the XGO3 children's smartwatch, but is only accessible on a device with a browser, i.e. a PC, laptop or tablet.

With the built-in pedometer and the corresponding activity platform, we promote a healthy balance between time spent in front of the screen and physical activity, and motivate children to move.
