Xiaomi Night Light 3 uses a round-shaped, adjustable-angle backlight scheme and a diffuse reflection principle to evenly distribute natural light. High and low light levels are provided.

The device has a light-sensitive motion sensor with a detection angle of up to 120 degrees. The detection distance is 5 meters at the front and 3 meters at the sides.

The Xiaomi Night Light is equipped with a 3,600 mAh battery and a USB-C port. A full charge takes 3 hours, and the battery life in low brightness mode is sufficient for 8 months of use. The device has a brightness control button as well as hidden adjustment buttons. Hidden buttons can be turned off, always on, or turned on in sensor mode.

The Xiaomi Night Light 3 has built-in magnets, so it is easy to mount on metal surfaces. There is also a base with adhesive tape for more secure attachment to the surface.
