The X-Epil Intimo Dual Effect vaginal tablets are a medical device designed to treat vaginal infections caused by both fungi and bacteria. They relieve itching, irritation and burning sensations, while reducing vaginal discharge and unpleasant odours. The tablets contain hyaluronic acid and lactitol monohydrate, and are intended to help restore a healthy vaginal flora and a balanced vaginal pH.

The small, firm tablets are inserted deep into the vagina once a day, in a similar way to a tampon. The recommended treatment lasts seven days and should ideally begin as soon as the first signs of an infection appear. In a clinical study involving 94 women, some participants reported relief within 30 minutes, and symptoms may ease within three days, though the full course should still be completed to help prevent recurrence.

The product is intended for women aged 16 and over. Its safety during pregnancy and breastfeeding is not known, so consulting a doctor beforehand is advised. The tablets are for intravaginal use only and must not be swallowed.
