Birds are actually everywhere in the world: from endless oceans to city skyscrapers to country meadows and small gardens. The birds are easy to observe thanks to their size, they are often beautifully colored, sometimes loud, always interesting, sometimes downright shocking. Due to their way of life, we can meet them in winter and summer. While observing them, we can travel the entire country, or even the world. The author of the book, a practicing ornithologist, guides us on how to identify the birds that move around us, fly in the air, and visit the waterers and feeders.
