WIHA Robbanásvédett stress test touch without unipolar 12 – 1 000 V AC

Product description
Before starting the electrical installation, electricians must check that the working environment is free of voltage. A voltage tester is needed to test alternating electric fields or to determine suspected fault sources. Thanks to the optical and acoustic signal, the non-contact Wiha voltage tester already indicates the voltage-free state. After switching on, the continuous green LED indicates operation. During the voltage test, the LEDs light up from blue (weak) through orange to red (strong), depending on the strength of the alternating electric field. Two AAA batteries are required for use, which are included in the scope of delivery. If the device is not used for 4 minutes, it turns off automatically to save energy. The built-in LED flashlight allows the measurement point to be illuminated in a dark environment and can be used as a flashlight, manually switched on and off. Thanks to its convenient size, the voltage tester with clip fits comfortably in any shirt or trouser pocket. Thanks to the internationally adapted measuring tip, the voltage tester can be used for all types of sockets worldwide. The single-pole voltage tester complies with EN 61010-1 / IEC 61326 and is designed for CAT IV 1,000 V AC voltage. In addition, the tool is approved for use in explosive atmospheres (category II) according to the ATEX standard.
Comment
Before and after each use, the voltage tester should be tested on a known voltage source to ensure operation.
Application
Live wires, cable breaks and breaks, blown fuses, for recognizing and locating faulty bulbs in string lights, as well as single-wire detection.
