When working on electronic components, there is a risk of damage due to the electrostatic discharge that occurs during the machining process. With the TorqueVario®-S ESD torque screwdriver set, this problem is a thing of the past. The ESD torque screwdriver is manufactured according to the international standard IEC 61340-5-1 and thus guarantees the maximum protection of electronic components. The dissipative tool handle has a surface resistance of 10⁶ - 10⁹ ohms and conducts electrostatic energy in a controlled and safe manner. The torque screwdriver also enables controlled tightening of the screw. With the help of the integrated numerical scale and the included adjustment tool, the torque range can be varied and thus covers a large application area. When the torque is released, a clearly audible and tangible signal guarantees process-reliable work and protects against damage to the material and subsequent repairs. With a release accuracy of +/- 6%, the torque tool meets the requirements of DIN EN ISO 6789. The kit includes a bit holder to hold 1/4" bits. All tools in the kit are housed safely and neatly in a metal box, including a factory inspection report.
