To reach deep screws, the blade diameter is often too large for traditional electrician screwdrivers. However, removing the insulation is not allowed and, moreover, endangers your own safety. With Wiha slimTECHNOLOGY, specially developed for electrical applications, the protective insulation is built into the blade, resulting in a blade that is up to 33% slimmer. Thus, the screw and spring elements that are deep with slimBits are also easily accessible. The insulated slimBits are individually tested according to the international standard IEC 60900 and their design enables safe work on live parts up to 1,000 V AC. In addition, the slimBits are placed in a smart bit storage box, which provides an optimal view of the screw profiles.
