Vizik Irritation Alleviating Eye Drop forms a sterile, preservative-free, viscoelastic and transparent protective film on the cornea. This is mainly provided by provitamin B5 (dexpanthenol), which, due to its high water-binding capacity, has properties that moisturize and also care for the eyes. The moisturizing properties of dexpanthenol are supported by the carbomer component. This forms a lubricating and protective film on the cornea and conjunctiva, thereby compensating for the missing tear fluid. Vizik Irritation Alleviating Eye Drop protects and moisturizes the surface of the eye and makes it slippery. This results in long-lasting relief in the case of complaints such as
• mechanical stress, e.g.: wearing hard or soft contact lenses or diagnostic interventions on the eyes,
• environmental stress, e.g.: air conditioning, wind, cold, dryness or air pollution, e.g.: by cigarette smoke, or
• strained eyes, e.g.: computer screen, working in front of a microscope, and long car journeys.

Due to its preservative-free nature, the Vizik Irritation Relief eye drops are very well tolerated even with long-term use and are also recommended for contact lens wearers. Contact lenses do not need to be removed before using Vizik Irritation Relief eye drops.

Application:
To open the bottle, completely remove the safety ring by pulling on the prefabricated tab (1). Then lift the cap (2) by pulling it upwards. Tilt your head slightly back, look up and gently pull the lower eyelid away from your eyes. Hold the bottle with the dropper opening facing downwards and drip 1 drop into the conjunctival sac with a strong, prolonged pressure of the container 3 - 5 times a day (3 + 4). Close your eyes slowly so that the liquid is distributed evenly over the surface of the eye. During application, the opening of the dropper should not touch your eyes or touch them with your hands. Any drops that are still at the dropper opening should be removed by gently tapping the bottom of the bottle. Then put the cap back on the bottle with slight pressure (5). If your symptoms worsen or do not improve, consult an ophthalmologist.
Due to the bottle's special, sterile air filter system, it is necessary that a few seconds elapse after each use without applying pressure to the bottle, so that enough air can flow in again. Without this waiting time, further use is difficult. Furthermore, due to physical reasons, it is necessary to exert a little more pressure during instillation, when the bottle starts to empty.

Composition: 1 ml contains: dexpanthenol, carbomer, anhydrous citric acid, sorbitol, water for injection.

Precautions and Warnings
• Do not use if the bottle or sealing ring is damaged.
• Do not touch the eye with the dropper opening of the bottle.
• Do not use if you are hypersensitive to any component of Vizik Irritation Relief eye drops.
• If you also use other eye drops/ointment, you must use them 15 minutes apart. Vizik Irritation Alleviating Eye Drops should always be used last.
• Do not use on infected or damaged eyes.
• Visual acuity may decrease temporarily after use; in this case, do not drive or operate machinery, wait until normal visual acuity is restored.
• Do not use Vizik Irritation Relief eye drops after the expiry date. This is embossed on the label and box.
• After first opening the bottle, do not use the product for more than 12 months.
• Due to the special, innovative sterile filter system of the dropper insert, the entire amount of the solution cannot be extracted from the bottle.

Storage: Store between 2 °C and 25 °C. It must be protected from frost. Close the bottle with the cap after use. Store the bottle in its original box, protected from light.
