Product description
A true premium lens and a true Bokeh Monster. On Fujifilm's APS-C sensors, calculated with small film measurement, an eq. It corresponds to a 40.5mm angle of view with the widest aperture of f1.2. At f1.2, the depth of field is so narrow that fast and accurate AF is almost essential. Viltrox has also built its usual STM focus into this lens, which provides impressive speed and accuracy. As a member of the Pro series, this lens also received weatherproof insulation, and Hoya aspherical lens elements were installed. There is also an aperture ring on the tube.
Why is this 27mm so important for a photographer? In general, 50mm lenses calculated with full frame measurement are referred to as basic lenses. The basic lens is actually a lens with a focal length equal to the length of the diagonal of the sensor. For a Fujifilm APS-C sensor, this looks like: Diagonal of the rectangle = √(a² + b²), √(15.6²mm+23.5²mm)=28.2mm. So the diagonal of Fujifilm's APS-C sensor is 28.2mm. The 27mm focal length is the closest to this. In essence, this 27mm is the real basic lens on Fujifilm's APS-C sensor frames and this lens provides the angle of view that the human eye can see. That is why the creations that we create with such a lens provide the most natural appearance for the person and will be comfortable for the viewer. A basic lens has a place in every photographer's bag!
