The VESTA GO 234AV 10 is a simple, lightweight and compact aluminum travel tripod kit designed for maximum portability and great for video on the go or birdwatching with binoculars.

This CNC-machined travel tripod kit consists of an aluminum tripod and a super-compact Arca Swiss compatible VEO PV-10 two-way video head. With a maximum load capacity of 5kg, this combination is perfect for shooting videos with most APSC or full frame camera kits and is also great for spotting scopes.

The stand has 23mm diameter legs, weighs just 1570g and its 4 sections allow it to fold down to 43.5cm for maximum portability. For easy portability, these stands are compactly designed with a diameter of 12 cm, so they fit easily in your hand on the go.

Despite the portability, these racks can be extended to 151 cm, or 123 cm without using the central column. There is also a spring hook at the base of the central column which allows extra weight to be attached for maximum stability.

For macro/low-angle shots, this travel tripod has three easy-to-adjust leg angles (20°, 50° and 80°) and a split central column that lets you lower to just 22cm for low-angle shots in seconds.

This tripod also includes a QS-56P quick release plate with a twist-free spring pin that ensures a stable fit to the scope while still allowing you to use the camera with ease.

Alternatively, if you have a spotting scope with an Arca-compatible base, you can place it directly into the clamp on the tripod head, eliminating the need for a quick release plate and ensuring the tightest fit between the tripod and spotting scope.

To convert this tripod to a 3-way head, all you need is an Arca-compatible 4-sided quick release plate, such as the QS-74 (not included). Simply set the vertical tilt angle to 90°, fix the camera "on the side", and you can take portrait shots.

This head has a compact 42mm base and mounts to the stand with a reversible 1/4" to 3/8" adapter thread, which is secured with caterpillar screws to keep it from loosening during use.

The stand top has two 3/8" threaded holes with a twist-free bayonet lock and a 1/4" threaded adapter. These allow you to attach up to two arms (such as the VEO TSA DLX tripod arm) and let your creativity run wild.

They also include a smartphone adapter that can hold any 54-87mm wide smartphone and attach to the quick release plate (or any 1/4" threaded Magic Arm) to get the most out of your smartphone.

The VESTA Go series also offers foot locks. Aluminum models have simple lever locks, while carbon models have easy-to-clean screw locks. Both options allow quick setup/dismounting of the tripod, but if you plan to use the tripod near the sea or in muddier locations, we recommend the easy-to-clean screw locks to maximize the life of the tripod with proper maintenance.
