The Vanguard VEO PH-36S is an Arca-compatible 3-way pan head designed to meet the growing trend of photographers who want to use their DSLR or mirrorless cameras for both video and photography, thanks to an innovative rotating top handle that allows you to:

- Move the handles together for video recording (or storage).
- Adjust the head to use a long lens or L-bracket
- Setting for left-handed photographers
- Take simple panoramas on uneven ground

Lightweight aluminum alloy CNC machined head that is sturdy enough to support a maximum load of up to 6kg.

This tripod head also features Vanguard's patented rotating top handle. Out of the box, it's set up to mount a decent long lens with an Arca-compatible mount.

To rotate the top handle, simply release the arm lock, rotate the top handle to the desired position in 90° increments, then reattach. This has a number of advantages, including the use of an L-bracket, easy panning on uneven ground, moving the handles together for video (or packing), and a setup for left-handed photographers.

Both handles are telescoping and textured for easy handling, even in wet conditions or with gloves, and allow for -91°~30° forward and side tilt. A separate pan lock enables 360° pan for the perfect panorama.

Thanks to the incredible tolerances achieved by CNC manufacturing, the movement is smooth and precise.

The head, which can be used even in the most difficult environmental conditions, works at temperatures between -25°C and 60°C.

This head comes with Vanguard's Arca-compatible QS-74 quick coupler, giving you maximum connection freedom in any direction, simply and quickly. It also includes a spring-loaded pin safety device that prevents the quick release plate from slipping out if the clamp is not fully tightened. Alternatively, you can use any other Arca-compatible disc, making it easier to get a replacement disc on the go, or a more specialized disc that Vanguard doesn't make.

Fits any tripod, this head has a 3/8" hole, an adapter that reduces this to 1/4", and its 50mm base diameter is suitable for travel and mid-sized tripods. For larger stands, you might want to consider the VEO PH-38S with a 58mm diameter base and 10kg load capacity.
