    Ingredients: gum arabic, wheat flour, rice flour, devil's root, turmeric. Another name for asafoetida is hing, but it is also known as devil's root. It gives a pleasant onion-garlic flavor to dishes, and Indian cuisine uses it mainly for its aroma-enhancing effect. It has a good effect on digestion, an antidote to bloating. It can also be recommended for dieters due to its fat-burning effect.
    Hing is the resinous, dried milky juice of giant anise powder in powder form. It gives a pleasant taste to vegetables and pickles, and is essential for dishes made from legumes, but it is also excellent for seasoning any salty dish.
