TRUTHEAR Wired earphone Zero Blue 2 blue
Product description
TRUTHEAR Zero Blue 2 wired headphones (blue)
TRUTHEAR Zero Blue is designed for listeners who expect dynamic, detailed sound and well-controlled frequency selection throughout the range. The design includes two dynamic drivers – one 10mm and one 7.8mm in diameter – as well as an advanced crossover system and solutions developed based on experience gained from previous models in the Zero series. The acoustic chambers, nozzle and many speaker components have also been redesigned for greater efficiency, reduced distortion and more natural sound reproduction. The design is completed by HeyGears 3D-DLP printed housings and a detachable cable made of copper and silver-plated copper.
Two dynamic drivers
A redesigned 7.8 mm dynamic driver with an internal magnet system is responsible for reproducing the middle and high frequencies. It has a flexible polyurethane suspension and a dome membrane made of LCP (Liquid Crystal Polymer). Compared to the previous model, the diameter of the magnet has increased by approximately 25% and the surface area of the dome has increased by approximately 50%. The structure that transmits high frequencies has also been modified. These changes have improved the speaker's efficiency and sensitivity at the highest end of the frequency range, ensuring smooth, clear reproduction of high frequencies, better frequency coverage and high resolution.

More powerful bass base
Low frequencies are handled by a modified 10 mm dynamic speaker. It has a finely tuned suspension made of solid silicone, a dome membrane made of liquid crystal polymer and a voice coil made of thin wire. The result is a redesigned bass tuning system that works with a low-distortion crossover network, similar to the solution used in the Zero Red series. Thanks to this, we achieved lower non-linear distortion than the original Zero model, and the bass gained greater depth and a cleaner, more energetic character.
Accurate lane splitting
The design of the acoustic chamber and the crossover system were redesigned based on the experience gained with previous TRUTHEAR headphones that used two dynamic drivers. The goal was to increase the efficiency of both drivers while allowing both to operate within the properly selected frequency range. As a result, the sensitivity of the entire system is significantly improved. The filter nozzle – produced by HeyGears using 3D-DLP technology – also plays a key role, working in conjunction with a hybrid multi-stage crossover system. This design allows the performance of the headphones to better meet the specifications defined during the design phase.

Clarity and greater detail
During the development of the Zero Blue 2 model, special emphasis was placed on increasing the overall efficiency, while maintaining excellent linear and non-linear distortion parameters. In selected frequency ranges, the level of non-linear distortion is lower than in the Zero Red series, which helps to preserve a clear background and sharp reproduction of fine details. The frequency selection has been tuned to better suit a wide variety of listening preferences: an optimized response characterizes the lowest bass tones below 50 Hz and provides a smoother transition in the midrange. The high frequencies, on the other hand, have been adapted to the HRTF amplitude response, so the high sensitivity is maintained even above 10,000 Hz.
Vivid and coherent sound
Compared to the first Zero model, many changes have been made that affect both the measurement results and the listening experience itself. The Zero Blue 2 offers a more dynamic and lively sound than the Zero Red, and the high efficiency of the driver responsible for the high frequency range makes it possible to highlight fine details present in recordings and mixes. The headphones also stand out with their extremely consistent phase response across the entire frequency range. Minimizing problems related to phase distortion helps maintain a more natural sound feel, and the increased internal conductivity has a positive effect on sound quality.

3D-printed houses
HeyGears is again responsible for the production of the housings, using precise 3D-DLP printing technology. The Zero Blue 2 is styled like the original Zero, but features a redesigned outer panel. The optimized resin used in the printing process allowed the material thickness to be reduced in places inside the chamber without compromising the structural integrity of the design. The size of the nozzle and the support angles have also been modified, paying particular attention to the comfort provided during longer use. The housings are skin-friendly and designed to be comfortable during multi-hour listening sessions.
Improved cable
The Zero Blue 2 is a 0.78mm 2-pin connector
