CLASS D DESKTOP STEREO AMPLIFIER

The Topping PA3s is a compact but powerful class D amplifier. Its operation is based on two Infineon MA12070 D-class amplifier chips. The device has a pair of symmetrical Jack and a pair of traditional RCA inputs.

CLASS D SYMMETRICAL AMPLIFIER WITH MA12070 CHIPS

The PA3s are based on a pair of Infineon Merus MA12070 Class D amplifier chips, which provide 2 x 65W into a 4Ω load and 2 x 37W into an 8Ω load, much better efficiency than conventional Class A, B and A/B amplifiers. The symmetrical signal processing architecture allows for a significant reduction of crosstalk between channels for accurate sound reproduction. The generated heat is removed from both amplifier chips by a large passive radiator, heatsink.

SYMMETRICAL JACK AND TRADITIONAL RCA INPUTS

The PA3s offer dual inputs for a wide range of applications, with a pair of traditional stereo RCA inputs and a balanced 6.3mm TRS Jack input. Using a balanced input eliminates potential ground loop issues to promote trouble-free use. Selection between inputs is possible with the front panel button.
