Desktop headphone amplifier

The Topping L50 is a desktop headphone amplifier with an architecture optimized for high performance. It has a new generation, more powerful NFCA circuit, which is based on the version used in the excellent A30 Pro. Versatile device with large reserves and adjustable gain value for all types and sensitivities of headphones.

New NFCA circuit

The NFCA circuit of the L50 provides significant output power, double that of the L30 at 300 Ω impedance. The new design results in a very low noise level of only 0.3 µV, a dynamic range of 145 dB and harmonic distortion of 0.00006%.

Symmetrical construction

The Topping L50 has both traditional asymmetrical and symmetrical connectors, so it easily adapts to the user's system. It offers standard RCA as an asymmetrical input, and a pair of 6.35 mm TRS Jack connectors as a balanced input. The headphone outputs include a 4-pole balanced XLR and a traditional 6.35 mm asymmetric Jack socket.

PASS-THROUGH functions

When the L50 is turned off, it passes the input signal directly to the RCA and TRS outputs without any intervention or amplification. Thus, it can be used both with active loudspeakers or connected to larger audio systems, where with a single movement, turning on the device, you can switch to listening to music with headphones without rewiring.
