Desktop DAC and Headphone amplifier

The Topping DX3Pro+ is an evolution of the excellent DX3Pro, an excellent compact DAC that offers both headphone amplifier and preamp functions. Thanks to the ESS ES9038Q2M DAC chip and the XMOS XU208 USB interface, it provides precise and lively sound. Another advantage is the built-in Bluetooth receiver, which provides practical and convenient wireless music listening from a smartphone, tablet, or other remote device.

QCC5125 BLUETOOTH 5.0 CHIP

The Bluetooth 5.0 reception of the DX3Pro+ is ensured by the QCC5125 chip designed by Qualcomm. The device is Hi-Res Wireless certified thanks to high-quality transmission codecs such as aptX, aptX LL, aptX HD and LDAC. To achieve even better performance, the Bluetooth receiver is directly connected to the ESS ES9038Q2M DAC chip, which decodes the audio stream.

The digital/analog conversion unit of the DX3Pro+ is based on the ESS ES9038Q2M DAC chip, which offers excellent performance and benefits from the brand's optimizations, e.g. Works at 0.00015% bias.

USB XMOS XU208 USB interface

In addition to the advanced DAC chip, the DX3Pro+ also includes a second-generation XMOS XU208 8-core USB interface, which is responsible for processing the data transmitted via the USB input and enables handling of high-resolution audio data streams up to a maximum resolution of 768 kHz/32bit PCM and DSD512, and also offers full compatibility with Windows , Mac OS, Linux, iOS or Android operating systems.

NFCA circuit

The DX3Pro+ benefits from Topping's new NFCA circuit, which has been specially optimized for this model and enables extremely low noise and distortion. The technology allows the DX3Pro+ to be used with high-sensitivity and high-impedance headphones.

Adjustable gain

In order to be compatible with the wide range of headphones available on the market, the DX3Pro+ has a two-level gain ratio: 6dB at low level and 19dB at high level.
