Desktop USB D/A converter

The TOPPING D10S is a USB input D/A converter with line-level analog and optical and coaxial digital outputs. XMOS XU208 USB interface, ESS ES9038Q2M DAC chip and OPA2134 operational amplifiers, as well as Thesycon matching software for Windows systems enable the processing of audio materials with 384kHz/32bit and DSD256 resolution, but the D10S also displays the current audio format and sampling frequency. The operational amplifiers are installed in a built-in socket, so they can be easily replaced with other types producing sound if needed. The D10S is compatible with Android, Windows, and MAC systems, and can automatically turn on/off with the computer connected to it. It also has Hi-Res Audio, CE, ROHS and FCC certification.

XMOS Interface

The USB-B connection is managed by a high-quality XMOS U208 interface, which has already proven itself in many situations in the world of high-fidelity music playback. It supports high-resolution digital streams for an accurate, detailed listening experience. The USB interface works in asynchronous mode, so it can keep the noise level low and reduce the digital timing errors of the playback. This solution significantly improves sound accuracy compared to older converters and sound cards.
